SoundOff Signal Limited Warranty Statement

Our warranty covers all products that do not work properly because of material defects or due to faulty workmanship, subject to the terms of this Warranty Statement. Our warranty applies only to product that has been installed according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions, operated within the proper specifications, not subject to abuse or misuse or excessive voltages and not altered and as to which a date code tag, product sticker, seal or the like, that was applied by the manufacturer, has been removed or altered. SoundOff Signal retains the sole right to determine what constitutes a defect in performance or manufacturing.

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Each warranty claim must be accompanied by a dated proof of purchase and a completed Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Form.

If the customer returns a defective product to SoundOff Signal (F.O.B. SoundOff Signal’s facility in Hudsonville, MI) during the warranty period for the product and if SoundOff Signal determines that the product is defective, then SoundOff Signal will, at its option, either repair or replace the defective product. Such repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy for a defect in a SoundOff Signal product. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

SoundOff Signal will not be liable to the purchaser or anyone else for incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, indirect, or punitive damages 1571427-2 1.800.338.7337 / www.soundoffsignal.com/warranty.htm / Rev. 0908 1571427-2 1.800.338.7337 / www.soundoffsignal.com/warranty.htm / Rev. 0908 arising from any defect, including but not limited to, personal injury, death, property damage, lost profits, or other economic injury. Without limiting the preceding sentence, SoundOff Signal shall not be liable for expenses incurred in the use of a product and/or the removal and re-installation of a product requiring service or repair or for the packaging, handling or shipping of a product to SoundOff Signal and/or its authorized distributors.

Our warranty will not apply to a product if the Warranty Return Policy & Procedures are not strictly followed with respect to the product. Returned product that is damaged by shipping via the RMA procedure is not the responsibility of SoundOff Signal.

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any action arising out of or relating to this warranty shall be brought in any federal or state court located in the State of Michigan and having jurisdiction of the subject matter.

Note: SoundOff Signal is not obligated to permit a customer to return a nondefective product. If SoundOff Signal does, in its sole discretion, permit such a return, then the return will be subject to a restocking fee of at least 20%, as determined by SoundOff Signal.

Your RMA number can be obtained by calling the Technical Services Department at 1.800.338.7337 or by emailing your return product list or completed RMA form to: techservices@soundoffsignal.com. Each RMA number is limited to a single shipment (multiple items are accepted) and will expire 10 days after the date it was issued. The new RMA form can be completed electronically. You should maintain a digital copy for your records.

Note: SoundOff Signal is not obligated to permit a customer to return a nondefective product. If SoundOff Signal does, in its sole discretion, permit such a return, then the return will be subject to a restocking fee of at least 20%, as determined by SoundOff Signal.

After you have received a RMA Number, complete the RMA Form and enclose a copy of your dated proof of purchase and return it with your product(s) to:
